BOTTLING INSTRUCTIONS 10 liter

----------------------------

PREPARATION:

Use the following to bottle your beer:

• Some sugar

• Disinfectant solution (sanitizer)

• Bottle capper and caps

• Rubber tube

• Bottle filler

• Roughly 25-30 empty 33 cl bottles, preferably brown

-----------------------------

1. SANITIZE

• Start by washing all the bottles

• Mix the rest of the sanitizer with 5 liters of water. Use a big bucket if possible.

• Fill some of the diluted sanitizer into each bottle and shake. Wait for about a minute.

• Now sanitize the rest of the equipment you will use – bottle capper, caps, siphon and a pot.

2. MAKE A SUGAR SOLUTION

• This step creates the carbonation in the beer.

• Add 1.5 dl of water in a pot. Add 5 table spoons of sugar and bring to a boil. Once boiling, remove and let it cool down.

3. BOTTLING

• Pour 6 ml. of sugar solution into each bottle with the plastic dropper.

• Place the fermenter on the kitchen sink. Mount the short rubber tube onto the bottle filler and apply that to the tap on the fermenter.

• Switch the tap on the fermenter to OPEN

• Grab a bottle and make the bottle filler go into the bottle. When the bottle filler hit the bottom of the bottle you will start to fill it with beer.

• Fill the bottles. Leave 2-3 cm of air at the very top of the bottle.

4. CAPPING

• Cap the bottles and let them sit in the dark (not in the fridge) for 14 days.

BREW, BRAG AND ENJOY!

You have now made your very own beer!

When the bottles have sat for 14 days, put them in the fridge and enjoy your own homebrewed beer with friends!
